About Us

The RiseUp CDC was Incorporated in 2010 with the objective of providing community outreach programs that address the needs of underserved families in the Renton and Kent areas. In 2015 RiseUp shifted its focus singularly towards educational and vocational empowerment for individuals from families in the South King County communities. In 2025 RiseUp-CDC rebranded to RiseUp South King County Scholarship Fund (RiseUpSKC).
